In Los Angeles We just got to LA. We narrowly missed destroying a small minivan in a rich-bitch neighborhood when we were on a detour of sorts. the JebMachine (JEB + Sleep Machine) Crew are going to Six Flags tomorrow for our day off.. On our way now to a Days Inn to get much much needed showers. The shows in Seattle and Tacoma were so-so... Motorhome died, lots of driving etc.. POrtland was much better. On thursday we play in Hollywood at The Roxy (On The Rox). Looking forward to that.
We are publishing a website of pictures and videos from the tour which will be online tonight.
We thought about going to the hospital because beau had a boner for three days straight. Luckily, he dissappeared at the truckstop last night and he has been fine ever since.

Jordan broke his elbow. The JEB Performances scheduled for July 15/16 are not happening. Friday's show is totallly off, and Saturday's will continue sans JEB. Beau and I are going to record two new songs this weekend if all goes as planned.

the boys are back in town
And I don't mean the thin lizzy hit.
I mean bo and jordan and myself are all in the same city for the first time in six months. We played a horrible show at the brown bear saloon with the whipsaws last friday. The whipsaws owned. We blew. It was good practice though. Anyway. We will be playing some shows. Click above on "shows" and you will see. We will be playing some new songs, and not playing some older ones. Onward. We will also be recording a few of the new tunes.

Tone Deaf and Color Blind was recorded at Resound Recording, probably the sexiest recording studio around. It is 16 tracks and 74 minutes long.

THE CD
I've just spent the last week holed up in the studio mixing and recording the finishing touches the album with Beauner. I'm listening to the first mix of the whole CD now, taking notes to fix minor stuff tomorrow. Then on the 7th it's time to send her off to get manufactured.
It's fucking-a exciting. The first JEB CD.
We have two bar and one all ages show lined up in early Jan. More to come.

The as of yet untitled new JEB CD is coming out!Rumor has it that it will be an enhanced CD. Of course Jordan's Sex Dungeon 1 will be on there. There is also a live compilation of Baby Love being worked on that could be included.

Saturday, Drugs, Binge, Learned, Baby Love, Devil Drink, His Name, Breathe Tomorrow, Watching You, Beautiful, Baby Love, and The Many Faces are either done or need finishing touches. We still have to finish Dreams are the same, Everglades, and Jordan's Sex Dungeon, and a few shorter dittys.

We are teaming up with Skeleton Soldier this winter to shoot a video for Saturday, and we are going to need some extras. More details on that as they unfold.

New Merch
We have some new tees, THONGS, and stickers in the works. We played at APU's new student kickoff a few days ago. We managed to piss off the Gay / Straight Alliance president I heard, because we told the audience why Jordan was so gay, many, many times. One kid had to get up and leave because "Sex Dungeon" hurt his virgin ears.

SORRY ABOUT THE FAIR
To all of you who came to the fair:
We are sorry that you got fucked on ticket prices. The management pulled a bad move the night of the fair and charged people the $13 to get in, and threw on $8 fair admission + $5 parking to get into the Delmag/JEB show. It was supposed to be $13 for the whole deal. We are sorry about this. It was out of our control. Thankyou for coming though, we had a blast.
Jordan's gay ass flew back in from college to play it which was nice of him. He also finished his recording for his stuff on the album.

JEB is back at it again after a bit of a summer break. All the drums tracks but one are done for the new album, which will have roughly 15 songs, plus a few gay jokes and masturbation skits, and probably a ballad written by mean about beau's dad. We are playing the state fair soon.. Sep. 1 with delmag. Jordan's gay ass leaves for college mid-august, but he is coming back for this show. Everyone should tell jordan he is a homo for leaving. Beau and I are still going to play with eachother (on and off stage) until Jordan gets back at x-mas. We're also playing Subconscious's CD Release at Millenium Aug. 11.

We just played Housewreckin's Uprising party at the Tesoro Sports Arena with Rebus and Delmag. It was our first show in a little over a month. We introduced two new songs and played a bunch of old ones. The show was a blast. Thanks to all who came out!

I have combined my recording studio with Ryan Brownell's setup and relocated to a new place in midtown. The new studio is called Resound Recording. We have two protools systems and two engineers!

B.O.B. Winner!
We won the West High Battle of the Bands last night. The other bands put up some stiff competition, but we came out on top. I think Beau hit on one of the judges (a guy). Not much has been going on because I went to europe for sprig break. I'm back now, getting ready to finish the album. We have a big show coming up at the Tesoro Sports Arena on May 15, which promises to be a good time. It is part of UPRISING, featuring JEB, Rebus, Delmag, and a bunch of DJ's. That's all for now!

Hittin the studio
We're trying to get our CD done. Recently, we finished the guitars and bass to Drugs are What I Love and Devil Drink. We're very close to finishing The Many Faces... it's quite an ordeal. I think it is over eight minutes long. Good things come to those who wait! No Shows for a bit, trying to focus on finishing our CD. Thanks to everyone who came out and supported us at all of our recent shows. Our seward show was an amazing turnout. Our first trip to Seward brought almost 100 attendees. Thanks to Tyler Hartley for driving all the way from Anchorage to open for us, too. Also, thanks to Jessi Nelsen for setting it up for us and advertising like mad!

This June, we will be touring with Day of Lions, Gena Gastaldi's new band, across Alaska and down the west coast.
Valley has been rocked out
The Valley Bistro was crammed with over 300 kids bidding a fond farewell to one of AK's coolest venues. I'm glad we could be a part of it. Of course, Rebus and Delmag owned, and Copia managed to get a bunch of sweaty guys to take their shirts off. We played two new ones.. "Dungeon Master" and "Breathe Tomorrow".. the latter of which will also be played at the egan.

We have gotten most of the tracking for Beautiful done, wrote a few new songs for the album, and recorded some other stuff. Things are going well. We're prepping for a bunch of February shows and getting some recording done. We're going to have some 3 song demos for sale at our next shows.

We were on 88.1 KRUA last night (the 7th) on Housewreckin Radio. We played a good 7 or 8 songs acoustically. Thanks to DJ Paradox for having us. There are some pictures of it in the pictures of the week section.
We now have MP3s online, as well as 8 new videos. We'll have mp3s of the radio show up soon. We're really looking forward to the show at the alley this weekend.

We are damn excited for these two. We're also working on shows with the Unknown Citizens and some other ones.

Thanks to all those who showed up last Friday to Alliance. Subconscious, Driveline, and the AKMC's rocked. We apologize for our short set; there was some confusion between the promoter and the stage manager, and we only got to play 6 songs.. We'll make it up to you soon!

Recording Notes
JorDAN got three basslines done today for Baby Love, Dreams are the Same, and His name. Erik got Cello finished for Learned and 1/2 way done for His Name, and all Beau did was play with his Jagar all day.

Recording Progress!!!
Beau and I spent a good 10 hours on recording today. We just got done (2:30am). We finished guitars for Baby Love, and I tracked all the Cello for Learned as well as did some mixing on it. Tomorrow is another day or recording and jamming, hopefully getting Jordan's ass over for some basslines.

Small website update - New live pictures page, and a new message board. I still havent gotten the color scheme of the board changed yet though. Check out the pictures from our UAA show november 14th!

Allright.. so here is a new website for you! it isnt completely online yet.. like.. the pictures page still links to the old pictures pages, but i will have it changed shortly! I (erik) am in hawaii right now, fresh from a trip to Portland where I got to see Nada Surf, Death Cab for Cutie, Placebo, and Pedro the Lion all in one week.
In JEB news.. our club millennium show has been moved to early january. We have all of our merchandise in now. The store will be completed when I make it back to anchorage. We have Hoodies, 4 t-shirt designs, girls' baby doll tees, girls' tank tops, and trucker hats. For now they are for sale at our shows.
We also have an article coming out in the Anchorage Daily news in early December.
